Why do I need to be compliant before I can buy Pro?
Before you purchase GoodParty.org Pro you need a compliant website, proof you are a filed candidate, and a campaign EIN.
One of the most powerful things GoodParty.org Pro gives you is access to voter data. As you can imagine, access to such data comes with some privacy and anti-spam requirements.
In our effort to get money out of politics, we don't want to charge you anything until we are sure you'll be able to use it!
Before you buy GoodParty.org Pro, you need to be able to get compliant.
Mobile carriers (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) require all political texting campaigns to have a verified campaigns that meets specific technical compliance standards before they'll approve your registration to permit texting voters.
These are not standards that GoodParty.org sets—and a 3rd party must independently verify your campaign is in compliance. Thankfully, we do all the heavy lifting for you!
To become compliant you need a specific website that meets stringent standards. We have a default version that we'll walk you through setting up. (This can be separate from a website you set up yourself.)
You'll also need to verify you are a filed candidate and have the appropriate campaign EIN. The EIN is free (and you cannot simply use your SNN) and we'll work with you to help you prove you are a filed candidate.
