Using a Custom Domain with Your Campaign Site

If you’d like your campaign site to live at a custom domain (like NameForCommissioner.com instead of goodparty.org/NameForCommissioner), you can purchase and connect your own domain directly through the website builder.

How It Works

  • You don’t need a Pro account to use a custom domain.

  • You can purchase your domain after publishing your site in the website builder.

  • Once connected, your campaign site will live entirely on your new domain — it will no longer appear under the goodparty.org subdomain.

 

Where to Do It

  1. In your campaign dashboard, go to the Website Builder.

  2. Publish your site if you haven’t already.

  3. Look for the “Add a Domain” or “Buy a Custom Domain” option.

  4. Search for your preferred domain (like YourNameForCity.org) and follow the checkout process.

You can choose endings like .org, .com, or .co — .org is often best for campaigns.
