Text Messaging Compliance: What’s Already Done for You
When you use GoodParty.org’s texting tools, all the legal and technical registration needed to send campaign texts is already handled for you.
You don’t have to worry about things like The Campaign Registry or 10DLC registration — our team takes care of those steps in the background so your messages actually reach voters instead of getting blocked or flagged as spam.
What These Terms Mean
-
10DLC (10-Digit Long Code)
This is the type of phone number used to send text messages from campaigns. Carriers (like AT&T or Verizon) now require that these numbers be registered to prevent spam. -
The Campaign Registry (TCR)
This is the national system that verifies who is sending text messages. Every organization must register their texting numbers here before sending large-scale or political messages. -
Campaign Verify
This is an extra layer of security for political campaigns. It confirms that the person sending messages really represents a real candidate or committee.
What GoodParty.org Does for You
GoodParty.org is already a verified texting provider with both The Campaign Registry and Campaign Verify.
That means:
-
You don’t need to sign up separately for any of these services.
-
You won’t have to upload IDs or fill out verification forms.
-
All campaigns using our texting tool are pre-verified and compliant with national carrier rules.
How to Confirm Your Setup
If you’re on a Pro plan, go to your Settings page in your GoodParty.org dashboard. You’ll see a section for texting tools and registration status. If you have questions or aren’t sure if your campaign is ready to send texts, contact Support or your Political Associate through the Help Center.
