Robocall Setup and Delivery: What to Expect

Robocalls let you deliver a pre-recorded message straight to voters’ phones or voicemails. Here’s how the process works and what happens behind the scenes.

List Cleaning and Bounce-Backs

Before your robocall campaign is sent, all voter lists are automatically scrubbed to remove invalid, disconnected, or duplicate phone numbers.

  • This prevents “bad numbers” from receiving calls.

  • If any number can’t be reached, it simply won’t be dialed again.

  • You don’t need to resend calls — your list is optimized before launch.

Recording Your Message

When you schedule a robocall, your assigned Political Associate (PA) will reach out with step-by-step instructions on how to record your message.
You’ll record the audio directly from your phone or upload a short file (45–60 seconds).

💡Personal, authentic recordings tend to perform best — avoid synthetic or “robot” voices.

Handling Invalid or Outdated Numbers

If your robocall list shows an old or incorrect number (like a personal contact), it won’t cause issues.
Those entries are filtered out during the scrubbing process, ensuring that only valid, dialable numbers are called.

 Next Steps

Once your robocall is approved and scheduled, your PA will confirm delivery timing and provide a report of successful sends after the campaign runs.
