How to Create Your Campaign Website

You can now create your own campaign website directly on goodparty.org. No tech skills required, just follow these steps.

First: Why This Matters

Your campaign website is often the first place voters will go to learn about you. A clean, professional site helps build trust, shows your values, and gives people an easy way to connect with and support your campaign.

Websites created on GoodParty.org also have essential elements that help you get compliant when it comes to sending texts. Even if you have your own website hosted elsewhere, you should build a campaign website with us. At the very least, it helps get your name in more places.

Start Your Website

  • Log into your Dashboard.
  • Look for the new Website link in the top navigation bar.
  • Click Create Website.
  • A wizard will guide you step by step, showing a live preview of your site as you build it.

Choose Your Custom Link

  • Enter the custom link you want (example: justin-hanson).
  • This becomes part of your site address: goodparty.org/c/justin-hanson.
    • Want to purchase your own domain? Click here for more info [Link]

Add Your Campaign Logo

  • Upload your campaign logo.
  • Don’t have one yet? You can use a placeholder and update it later.
  • You’ll see the logo appear in the live preview.

Pick a Color Theme

  • Choose from a few preset color themes (example: Light).
  • Select the one that best fits your campaign style.

Add a Tagline

  • Enter a campaign slogan or tagline.
    • Example: “Local solutions, not party politics.”

Upload a Candidate Photo

  • Upload a headshot of yourself.
  • This photo will appear prominently at the top of your site.

Write Your Campaign Bio

  • Add a short description of your campaign — who you are and why you’re running.
  • Keep it simple and clear.

List Your Key Issues

  • Enter your policy focus areas (example: Transportation, Housing, Public Safety).
  • Click to edit details, delete, or add more issues anytime.

Add Contact Information

  • Enter your address, email, and phone number.
  • This will display at the bottom of your site so voters can reach you.

Publish Your Website

  • Click Publish Website.
  • Congratulations — your site is now live!
  • Copy your link and share it on:
    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • Nextdoor
    • Email, text, or anywhere else supporters can find it.

Track & Update Your Website

After publishing, you can:

  • See unique visitors (how many people came to your site).
  • Receive messages from voters who use your contact form.
  • Edit anytime: logo, color theme, title, campaign details, or contact info.

👉 That’s it! You now have a campaign website you can share with friends, family, and supporters to start building momentum.
